• Transition will open at 5:00am and will close promptly at 6:30am.

The Bangs Lake Multisport Festival will be limited to 1000 participants.

Location

Bangs Lake is located at: 600 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL 60067.

Event Alert System

Course conditions will be reported leading up to and on race day using the Event Alert System (EAS)

Participation Divisions

Age Groups: 16-19 years, 5 year age groups through 70+.

Athena: Female participants over 150 lbs.
39 years and under
40 years and over

Clydesdale: Male participants over 200 lbs.
39 years and under
40 years and over

Please note: Racers may enter only one division (either age-group or Athena/Clydesdale) if meeting above weight qualifications.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be at:

Running Away Multisport (1634 West North Ave., Chicago, IL 60622) on Friday – August 6th, 12:00pm to 7:00pm

and

The Wauconda Park District Building at Bangs Lake on Saturday – August 7th, 12:00pm to 4:00pm .

Race day packet pickup will only be available for our out-of-town participants from 5:00am to 6:00am. An out-of-town particpant is anyone who lives more than 30 miles from Running Away Multisport or from Cook Park in Wauconda, IL. You will receive an email confirming your out-of-town status with the details of packet pickup.

You may pick up packets of friends and family members, but ONLY on the dates listed above.

Please note: There will be no race day registration.
